    The 'Envirothons' are annual competitive outdoor events testing students' skills and knowledge of natural resources in the areas of soils, aquatics, forestry, wildlife and current environmental issues.  Four levels of competition involve local, regional, state, and North American (includes Canadian provinces).  Study materials and other information are available at the Area IV Envirothon, and the North American Envirothon

Montgomery/Greene County Envirothon - this years event will be April 16th, held at the new Montgomery County Fairgrounds,645 Infirmary Road, Dayton, OH 45417, Montgomery County.

Area IV Envirothon - Up to three, five-member teams from any Montgomery County high school (grades 9-12) are eligible to participate in the Area IV Envirothon. This year's event will be April 30th, held at the Caesar Ford Park, 520 South Stringtown Road, Xenia, OH 45385, Greene County.

To register for these events you must turn in all forms to your local SWCD.
